A Few More Projects

When my dear friend Teresa asked me if I could do a few projects for her booth at the summer CHA tradeshow (craft and hobby association) using her new lines that debuted at the show-I was more than happy to help out (love new products)-I had a few more projects  but I didn’t get any pictures of them before the show.

Something New

I recently had the opportunity to try Rowlux® Illusion Film and I have seen some amazing projects done with it.  I decided to stay away from the paper crafts this time so I did a bracelet.  I tend to work with more muted colors so I had to push myself to think outside the box from what I normally do.  It also works great with all the embossing folders available.  I die cut some flowers and used my heat tool on the center flowers.  I glued the flowers to a wood bangle to create a bracelet.

More Scrapbook Pages

Since all my brothers live in Hawaii-I don’t get to see them or their cute little families very often, but when they all come to the mainland I try and take advantage and get some darling photos of their children.  Two of my sisters are here locally (well Lisa will be moving here soon) so I love to get pics of their children too when I can.  I have been having so much fun doing these scrapbook pages as they are not for anything in particular.  I did most of these with hidden journaling or left them blank so all the moms can fill in the info.

Love It!!

_MG_8003 copyOk I actually did a scrapbook page-I really think its been at least a year since I did a layout.  I had taken lots of pictures of my family when we were in Hawaii for Christmas last year since it was all my brothers and sisters and their darling little families.  This paper collection by Teresa Collins Designs worked so well with both the black/white and color photos.  I sprayed the seam binding ribbon with the Gold Lame Color Shine from Heidi Swapp and used it on the tag where all the journaling is.  I made a pocket on the back of the photo to hold the tag.  I even used my Silhouette Cameo, which has been sitting on my desk for almost a year.  I ran the diecut title through my Xyron as there was no way I could have gotten adhesive on all the little parts. Cardstock is all Bazzill but next time I will remember to only cut once not double as I cut through the mat. Oh well! C’est la vie!
