I love working with metal foil-I wanted a more vintage shabby chic look for a Christmas album to match the Anna Griffin paper I have saved from several years ago.  I still need to add a few more embellishments to the binding and inside the book but I really like the way it turned out.

Where did the time go?

I love the way this project turned out-Erin's baby pictures.  Hard to believe she is a senior in HS this year.  Anyways I did this mini book using plain black envelopes folded in half and TC Bella paper line.  I cut the covers out of black art board and covered with paper-used my favorite adhesive from Kokuyo.  I cut the flower out from an old book page and inked it with Tsukineko ink and covered it with Diamond Glaze. I used the bind it all to bind the whole album together.

Travel Journal

I finally got my travel journal from our big family European vacation-I still love Paris the most.  I didn't include all the journaling as some of it was too raw and emational for me to post about my feeling at  the Dachau concentration camp.

In this book I made the evelopes that hold all the small little pieces that would have otherwise gotten lost in the book.  I also used the Bind it all-amazing how much easier it is to bind assorted items when you read the directions,

I recently had the opportunity to work with adhesive backed metal sheets.  I had seen this on Teresa Collins blog so I wanted to try it.   I painted the cover black and then added a coat of sealant then I sprayed it with Glimmer Mist so it has a shimmery green cast to it.
